You can create a separate text box linking it to the barcode data. Once it is created, the size of the characters inside the box can be changed.
- Move the mouse pointer to the barcode on the label layout and right click on the mouse button.
- Go to Create Link Object and select Text. A text box containing the barcode data will appear on the label layout.
- Double click on the text box containing the barcode data; a Text Properties dialog box will appear.
- Click on the Font tab and select a font size. You may require to increase the size of the text box size in order to fit a larger font size. Click OK when finish.
Note: Whenever you change the data of the barcode, the text box containing the barcode data will automatically changed (matching the barcode data). You cannot change the barcode data in the text box directly; it has to be change within the barcode.
- Since a separate barcode data box has been created, you can remove the smaller text under the barcode by double click on the barcode, click on the Setup tab and uncheck the box for Show Characters.
